The Customer Service Specialist will serve as the administrative assistant for all business needs. Primarily, serve as lead cashier and customer service representative. They will prep and assist with training ensuring film development safety and constant cleanliness of the training area, darkrooms, bathrooms, lounge and retail areas. When assisting they will be responsible for helping customers who need assistance with but not limited to their film development and printing needs.  

Responsibilities: 

· Listen to customer concerns and forward complaints to management

· Give detailed explanation of company products and services

· Communicate with customers in person and over the phone

· Receive orders, calculate charges and process payments.

· Monitor Customer satisfaction levels

· Refer Customers to management when necessary

· Refill film developing chemical containers prior to each session

· Check chemical temperatures to ensure they are in safe temperature zones

· Ensure film development safety guidelines are followed

· Supply customers with drinking glasses for tables

· Keep work area clean and sanitized

· Prep containers with appropriate chemicals throughout shift and ensure training area and darkroom prep checklist is completed

· Ensure cleaning checklist is completed at beginning and end of shift

· Performs other duties as required

Required Skills/Abilities:

· Knowledgeable in inventory procedures

· Hands-on experience using multiple popular POS programs

· Performs well under pressure and when dealing with complaints

· Strong verbal and written communication skills

· Friendly, energetic, and always willing to go the extra mile

· Great communication abilities 

· Patience, empathy and professionalism

· Good problem-solving and decision-making capabilities

· Basic computer skills, including data entry, website navigation and other software

· Effective time management, prioritization and multitasking skills

· Ability to work in a team setting

· In-depth understanding of the company’s products or services

· Ability to work 15-40 hours per week.

· Ability to work nights and weekends if needed

· Must have valid driver's license.

· Proficient with Microsoft Office, Google Work Space and company other related software.

Experience/Education:

• Must be 18 years or older
• High school diploma
• 1+ years’ experience working in a social environment

Physical Requirements: 

• Ability to stand for extended periods of time
• Ability to lift, bend
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a times

Responsible for providing the best possible experience for our customers. They will host film development events while focusing on film development instruction, as well as customer self-serve beverage service support.

Responsibilities:

 Daily:

• Have knowlegde of mixing and preparing all film development chemistry. 
• Ensure all material and chemicals are prepped prior to the start of each session
• Assign group seating prior to session
• Ensure each film development station is set with supplies
• Support with greeting and seating customers
• Provide a formal introduction at the beginning of the event to welcome customers
• Provide step-by-step film development instruction for a group of customers during live film development and darkroom printing.
• Act as the lead entertainer for the event
• Announce dry breaks and refill Call for self-serving options
• Engage customers from stage and 1:1 while circulating the room
• Ensure presence is strong and voice is projected at a reasonable volume
• Manage the music throughout the event to ensure the energy is high
• Manage the crowd to ensure all customers are able to see and hear the instruction
• Manages the session to stay within assigned session time
• Follow cleaning checklists to ensure company standards are met

When Assisting:

• Support with greeting and seating customers
• Serve as cashier and server, providing drinking glasses at tableside
• Restock throughout the session to ensure drinking glasses are clean and readily available
• Acting as the host of the party for a particular event
• Place customer retail orders through the POS system and collect payment for all sales
• Help customers 1:1 with any film development needs that arise
• Take customer photos during and at end of session
• Ensure customers are enjoying their experience overall
• Follow cleaning checklists to ensure company standards are met
• Performs other duties as assigned

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Must be outgoing, personable and fun
• Quick understanding of how to process and teach our film development and scanning sessions

• Ability to be reliable and timely
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent sales and customer service skills
• Thorough understanding of the company's products and/or services, and those of immediate competitors in the surrounding market
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace and Slack
• Must have a reliable vehicle and valid driver license
• Ability to work nights and weekends as needed
• Ability to work 15-30 hours per week

Experience/Education:

• Must be 21 years or older
• Experience in teaching in groups
• Experience working in a social environment
• Physical Requirements:
• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time
• Ability to lift, bend
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times
